SAMTA TRUST is a non-profit and non-government voluntary organization, located at Lahar in district Bhind, Madhya Pradesh. It was constituted and registered on 11th January 1994 as a public trust in the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate and Registrar Public Trust, Lahar under the society act with the registration no. 52. The activities of Samta Trust are in Education, Agriculture, Health Services and Social Sector etc. in various sector of society.
SAMTA TRUST envisages creating a society order of equal opportunities in society. The trust aims to promote rural and slum section of society and participatory development processes in rural areas along with maintaining transparency and professionalism with an eye for better performance and social accountability. The role and objectives of the trust in education field are:
- To create awareness for education in slum, poor society.
- To establish and promote high quality technical education and research institutions with best technology and equipments.
- To provide an environment for effective interaction with society to serve it.
- To establish effective linkage between the institute, industries and research & development organizations.
- To publish the newspapers and journals.
- To inspire peoples for self-employment.
- To ensure job placements for students.
